Unlike some websites we're about as fair and honest and as straight shootin' as it gets. In fact the only cowboys 'round these here parts are Cowboy Jack and his Cowboy Chicken!

Postage and Packing

For standard deliveries to our UK (mainland) customers, postage and packing charges will be applied at £1.80 (minimum P&P charge) for the first 0.2kg (this is equivalent to ONE book), increasing in increments as follows:  up to 0.45kg £2.30 (TWO books), up to 0.70kg £2.90 (THREE books), up to 0.95kg £3.40 (FOUR books), up to 1.20kg £4.75 (FIVE / SIX books), up to 1.45kg £5.50 (SEVEN books), up to 1.70kg £6.25 (EIGHT books), up to 1.95kg £7.00) (NINE books).

To be honest the simplest way to check out the cost of postage for non UK delivery addresses is to go to our shopping/orders page, act as though you are about to place an order (which will therefore tot up the weight of your books) and then fill in your country and see what it tells you when you press the "calculate" button. This does not commit you to buying anything obviously, and it means you get to see our pretty camo pattern on our orders page whilst checking the P&P costs... how cool is that?!?!

For European customers postage and packing charges will be charged up to £5.50 for the first book and up to £3 for each subsequent book. Charges for the rest of world are up to £6 for the first book and up to £4 for each subsequent book.

Delivery

As a general guide, dispatched items are usually delivered according to the guidelines below.
 
United Kingdom: 2 days
Europe: 5 - 12 days
Rest of world: 10 - 20 days

Ordering

Short Stack Publishing will email you with confirmation of the receipt and acceptance of your order. Short Stack Publishing at its sole discretion may rescind acceptance, in whole or in part, of any order containing incorrect information, whether this results from technical malfunction or any other cause, or in cases where the order is in conflict with the conditions of purchase.
 
Items on one order are sent to the same delivery address.
  

Credit/debit card payment

The customer's card is debited at the time of processing the purchase by PayPal.
 
After reviewing order details in the shopping cart, the customer may opt to proceed to payment. The customer will in this case be conveyed to a PayPal secure site. After entering their credit card details into this screen, the customer receives a message from PayPal as to the success or failure of their transaction and is then conveyed back to the Short Stack Publishing site.
 
Short Stack Publishing does not have access to customer card details at any time.
 
Refunds will be transacted by PayPal on behalf of Short Stack Publishing
 
Data is encrypted for the customer's safety. Short Stack Publishing cannot be held responsible for a security failure originating with PayPal or other suppliers.
 

Cancellation

You may cancel your order, in part or in whole, within 30 days of its dispatch (or within eight working days of receiving the goods) by contacting us on 01789 740704 Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 5.00pm (GMT) or orders@shortstackpublishing.com. If your order has already been shipped, please refer to returns and refunds below.
 
In the event of an order not being fulfilled due to the title being out of stock, an e-mail will be sent to the customer advising when they can expect to receive their order.

In the event of an order not being fulfilled due to the title not being published yet, an e-mail will be sent to the customer advising when they should expect to receive their purchase.
 

Returns and refunds

The refunds terms and conditions do not affect the customer's statutory rights.
 
Returns are accepted for any reason within the 30 day guarantee period (beginning on the date of dispatch) or within 8 working days of the customer receiving goods. Customers returning goods are advised to use registered post or recorded delivery, as Short Stack Publishing cannot issue refunds for returned items lost in transit.
 
Please do the following:
· Make a note for your reference of any order number and the item number/ISBN(s)
· Contact us on 01789 740704 or shortstack@shortstackpublishing.com and we will advise you where to return your item.
· Where possible, return the item(s) with your order information and in the original packaging.
 
Please note that Short Stack Publishing will not refund returns postage and packing charges except in the demonstrable event that the customer has received an unordered item, an item damaged in transit, or a faulty item.
 
Refunds are normally processed within a week of receipt of the returned item or within 30 days of cancellation. Where refunds are requested, the we will search the customer's order record to prevent instances of fraudulent requests.
 
We will do our best to provide replacement copies of undelivered or returned items when requested, but Short Stack’s only obligation will be to refund purchase costs.
 

Supply

Short Stack Publishing reserves the right at its sole discretion not to supply certain customers, or customers in certain countries, or to apply any limitations of quantity or value deemed appropriate.
