Bookshop Ordering In ordering from ShortStackPublishing.com it is assumed that you have read, understood and accepted the conditions of purchase displayed during the purchasing process. For reference, these are listed below. • A maximum of 10 items can be purchased in one transaction. ShortStackPublishing.com will email you with confirmation of the receipt and acceptance of your order. ShortStackPublishing.com at its sole discretion may rescind acceptance, in whole or in part, of any order containing incorrect information, whether this results from technical malfunction or any other cause, or in cases where the order is in conflict with the conditions of purchase. If you would like to place a very large order, please contact customerservices@ShortStackPublishing.com to place a Special Terms order. Items on one order are sent to the same delivery address. Credit/debit card payment The customer's card is debited at the time of processing the purchase by PayPal. PayPal is a safe, easy way to pay online. The service allows anyone to pay in any way they prefer, including through credit cards, bank accounts, buyer credit or account balances, without sharing financial information. PayPal has quickly become a global leader in online payment solutions with more than 153 million accounts worldwide. Available in 190 markets and 17 currencies around the world, PayPal enables global ecommerce by making payments possible across different locations, currencies, and languages. PayPal has received more than 20 awards for excellence from the internet industry and the business community -most recently the 2006 Webby Award for Best Financial Services Site and the 2006 Webby People's Voice Award for Best Financial Services Site. The security of information, transactions and money balances is a top priority at PayPal. PayPal uses the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). After reviewing order details, the customer may opt to proceed to payment. The customer will in this case be conveyed to the PayPal payment screen. After entering their credit card details into this screen, the customer receives a message from PayPal as to the success or failure of their transaction and is then conveyed back to the ShortStackPublishing.com site. ShortStackPublishing.com does not have access to card details unless the customer calls Customer Services and asks a member of staff to complete an order on their behalf. In this case the customer's card details will be entered onto the system by Customer Services but the information is not stored by ShortStackPublishing.com . Refunds will be transacted by PayPal on behalf of ShortStackPublishing.com. Data is encrypted for the customer's safety. ShortStackPublishing.com cannot be held responsible for a security failure originating with PayPal or other suppliers. Cancellation You may cancel your order, in part or in whole, within 30 days of its dispatch (or within 8 working days of receiving the goods) by contacting us at customerservices@shortstackpublishing.com If your order has already been shipped, please refer to Returns and refunds below. In the event of an order not being fulfilled within 4 weeks, an e-mail will be sent to the customer giving the option to cancel the order. After 10 weeks the order is cancelled and the customer's money refunded. The customer is advised to reorder after a few weeks if necessary. If an item increases in price during the period between order and dispatch, Shortstackpublishing.com pays the difference on behalf of the customer. Returns and refunds The refunds terms and conditions do not affect the customer's statutory rights. Returns are accepted for any reason within the 30-day guarantee period (beginning on the date on the dispatch form) or within 8 working days of receiving goods. Customers returning goods are advised to use registered post or recorded delivery, as ShortStackPublishing.com cannot issue refunds for returned items lost in transit. Please do the following: • Make a note for your reference of the order number and item number/ISBN(s) given on the dispatch form. • Contact our Customer Services Centre by email. • Where possible, return the item(s) with the original despatch note and in the original packaging. Please note that ShortStackPublishing.com will not refund returns postage and packing charges except in the demonstrable event that the customer has received an unordered item, an item damaged in transit, or a faulty item. Refunds are normally processed within a week of receipt of the returned item or within 30 days of cancellation. Where refunds are requested, the Customer Services Manager will search the customer's order record to prevent instances of fraudulent requests. We will do our best to provide replacement copies of undelivered or returned items when requested, but ShortStackPublishing.com's only obligation will be to refund purchase costs. Supply ShortStackPublishing.com reserves the right at its sole discretion not to supply certain customers, or customers in certain countries, or to apply any limitations of quantity or value deemed appropriate. |
