MARCH 7th 2009: WINKIE AT CRUFTS 2009 Winkie was there wowing Crufts attendees and dispensing pearls of doggie wisdom whilst signing copies of How to Handle Living with Your Dog at the glorious Fish4Dogs stand.
FEBRUARY 26th 2009: How to Handle Living With Your Dog in THE WHARF The Wharf competition offered winners a copy of the wonderful How to Handle Living with Your Dog, and the competition was accompanied by a lovely piece about Short Stack and about Winkie.
JANUARY 29th 2009: PRESS COVERAGE ~ Matthew Parris in The Spectator The Short Stack website suddenly started getting loads and loads of first time visitors and lots of fabulous extra sales of How to Handle Living with Your Dog then we received a lovely email from a gentleman buying one of our books and referring to Matthew Parris and The Spectator... lo and behold the wonderful and utterly splendiferous Matthew Parris had described his encounter with Charlie in the Another Voice column in The Spectator (31.01.09) and given full details of How to Handle Living with Your Dog. Consequently here at Short Stack Towers we are starting the Matthew Parris Appreciation Society. Mr Parris... we LOVE you. Click here for a pdf version showing the relevant extract from the article.
JANUARY 21st 2009: WELL YOU NEVER KNOW... Charlie was taking an early morning walk in Narrow Street (near Canary Wharf) pondering how to make more people aware of the wonderful How to Handle Living with Your Dog. She spotted Matthew Parris and somewhat uncharacteristically decided to accost him to tell him about the book and see if he knew any dog-loving journalists who could help Short Stack.

JANUARY 13th 2009: AUDIO BOOK RECORDING Winkie was working her socks off at Black Frog Studios recording the audio version of How to Handle Living with Your Dog ready for release on 06 April 2006
DECEMBER 11th 2008: SNEAK PREVIEW PRE LAUNCH PARTY Sneak Preview Pre Launch Party for Winkie's brilliant book How to Handle Living with Your Dog. This fabulous (even if we say so ourselves) party was held at The (wonderful) Wyer Gallery! The forthcoming publication of How to Handle Living With Your Dog was celebrated with Salty Dogs and Bellinis (amongst other delights) and more canapes than you could shake a dog bone at, and (naturally) over the course of the evening Winkie signed special pre launch copies of the book for the 100 or so VIP attendees...
